Rupert took part in a year long program aimed at honing the leadership skills of orthopaedic consultants in the UK. This pioneering program teaches how to effect change in a modern NHS, and allowed the development of an Ambition in Practice (Efficiency in the Operating Theatre in Rupert's case) which will run throughout his consultant career.
